Holi Celebration at the Seaport

In celebration of Holi, the traditional Indian festival of colors marking the start of spring, the Seaport is partnering with The Culture Tree and the South Street Seaport Museum to host special family programming on Saturday, March 15, 2024 from 11am – 2pm.

Holi originated in the Indian Subcontinent, and is now celebrated around the world as a way to welcome spring, embrace inclusivity and get messy with color. The Culture Tree, a New York based organization that promotes cultural literacy about South Asia, has come up with an array of festivities with a hope to honor this colorful celebration, and teach the community about Indian culture.
