Class Description:

Meant as a continuation of Drawing 1, Students progress to more advanced stages of historical academic training. Students will be introduced to faster but more complicated styles of drawing and begin to study the human form.

Bio

William Demaria is a Baltimore based artist who has always loved drawing and traditional oil painting. He finds the process of creating artwork itself to be beautiful and has always been interested in studying the way artwork is made. He believes that every student, no matter their skill level, has an individual voice that should be developed. His teaching style is flexible and the pace of his classes adapts to suite individual students needs

Level: Beginner

Syllabus: 8 weeks of class

Week 1 (Sep 4) Master Copy Bargue Drawing- Advanced level Copy

Week 2 (Sep 11) Master Copy Bargue Drawing- Advanced level Copy

Week 3 (Sep 18) Master Copy Bargue Drawing- Turning form with directional line

Week 4 (Sep 25) Still Life- Alluding to detail in complicated subjects

Week 5 (Oct 2) Still Life- Alluding to detail in complicated subjects

Week 6 (Oct 9) Personal Projects

Week 7 (Oct 16) Personal Projects

Week 8 (Oct 23) Personal Projects

Age Group: Adult 

Number of Participants: Max 6

Mask Optional 

Essential supplies (no need to purchase new tools and materials if you already have your own.)

Recommended Pencils. 6 or 12 Set Recommended. 2b pencil essential if you only want to buy 1.
