ABOUT US

As the India American Cultural Association (IACA) proudly celebrates its 55th year of community service, we are thrilled to announce the 29th annual Festival of India—a vibrant tribute to the spirit, culture, and resilience of the Indian-American community.

First conceptualized by IACA in 1997 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of India’s independence, the Festival of India (FOI) has grown into one of the largest and most beloved South Asian events in the Atlanta region. For nearly three decades, this signature event has drawn thousands of attendees, offering a dynamic platform to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage.

FOI showcases India at its cultural and intellectual best, featuring mesmerizing classical and contemporary performances from Atlanta’s top dance, music, and performing arts academies. The festival also hosts thought-provoking seminars on diverse topics, highlighting India’s contributions and perspectives in today’s global context.

This year, as we step forward with renewed energy, the Festival of India continues to serve as a unifying force—bringing together over 30 regional and cultural organizations in a joint celebration of heritage, identity, and community. IACA, with its rich legacy of over five decades, remains deeply committed to fostering cultural awareness, building community bridges, and enriching the social fabric of Atlanta.

Join us as we honor the past, celebrate the present, and inspire the future—together.
